If you want to entertain the players, you should extend the services close to the table. You can have a music speaker here and a drinks cabinet as well. This will give you a chance to entertain your visitors. This is a common method of arrangement in the commercial places where you pay to play the game.
4. Create a good environment around the table. The light should be a source of interest to the players. It should not be a stumbling block to them as they play. It can be hung at a good distance from where it is not nuisance to the players. Consider that people come with different heights.

It is a bad idea to let the lights go off in the middle of the game. This will give the player confidence to lie on your table. If you are in to special audiences, say gender defined, you can use the lights to define this. The warm colors are mostly related to feminine. You can incorporate this to the light holder.
